The Homeric Hymn to Aphrodite
The Homeric Hymn to Aphrodite tells of the goddess’s love affair with Anchises, a Trojan prince and shepherd. This comic includes the complete ancient Greek text in Gregory Nagy’s translation. The hymn is one of the earliest surviving Greek poems, from the seventh century BCE.
